Waldwick is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey with a population of 9,625. The region was first explored by Europeans when a Dutch trading expedition landed near there in 1610. The borough of Waldwick started under Dutch possession as the Nieuw Amsterdam colony in 1624.

Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps – Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a non-profit volunteer organization whose services are offered to the community for over sixty years. All EMTs are trained to provide Basic Life Support and to recognize incidents involving hazardous materials and threatening incidents to help protect themselves and their patients.
